Intermediate Unit 1 Induction Consortium

The Intermediate Unit 1 Induction Consortium program is designed to address the training and educational needs of teachers who are new to the profession or returning to education full-time and meets the state regulations for teacher induction as part of the certification requirement. For the past 12 years, Intermediate Unit 1 has coordinated an induction program for a consortium of districts and area vocational technical schools who have chosen to pool their resources to provide a two-year program for inductees. Inductees attend six days of workshop sessions over a two year period.
